Ocean Park Residence

A significant addition was made to this one-story corner residence in Ocean Park, originally designed by Toro Ferrer in the 1950s. A new second-story volume houses the primary bedroom and a home office. The ground floor was reconfigured for improved cross ventilation and now includes guest bedrooms. A small pool anchors the garden, which is strongly connected to the interior. Salmon-colored encaustic tiles and bold bathroom colors add the whimsy the owner desired.
